Severe Motion Sickness Gone

Severe Motion Sickness Gone

We started with Rhythmic Movements [from the Brain and Sensory Foundations course] in July 2017 – so it’s going on 9 months now.

"My daughter could not ever tolerate being on her tummy due to her motion sickness and that has now passed. Her motion sickness was severe – we couldn’t drive four blocks without her getting sick."

My daughter just turned 5 in October 2017. She had a significant accident when she was 2.5 years old. She was at the top of the stairs, grabbed the baby gate and popped it out from the wall.

She then “surfed” the gate down the stairs head first. She wasn’t really hurt, but she was very afraid and I believe this event retriggered/unintegrated her fear paralysis and maybe a few other primative reflexes.

Currently we do a long session every other day (15 to 25 minutes each child - occasionally it's gone over 45 minutes because they won’t let me stop!) We don’t do them everyday because I find that the brain needs a day of rest to incorporate and adjust to the new information from the sessions.

If I forget to do a session they will remind me. When we started I usually did it when they were asleep. When I moved to them being awake for the sessions, it was very short sessions (sometimes less than a minute) – we slowly increased the length of time.

When we started they both could barely tolerate any movement and now they both ask for it.

"We have seen great improvement with my daughter's motion sickness.
She will now spin herself in circles or get her dad to do it and she giggles and loves it."

Just a few months ago that never would have happened.
