Rhythmic Movement Training, Level 1 & 2 is an excellent combination of 17 gentle rhythmic movements and reflex integration activities that effectively stimulate brain pathways and optimize potential in all areas of life. We are seeing excellent results for children and adults with challenges.

What is Rhythmic Movement Training?

Rhythmic Movement Training (RMT) is a system of gentle movements and reflex integration activities for developing emotional balance, ease of movement, learning ability and sensory integration. Developed by psychiatrist Harald Blomberg, MD, it is particularly useful for children and adults with challenges including ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, coordination difficulties, developmental, speech and learning delays, sensory processing disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders and many other challenges. RMT Level One

Primitive Reflexes and ADD/ADHD
Friday & Saturday, Nov 9 & 10, 2012 • 9am–5:00pm

In this 2-day course, participants do experiential learning of 17 rhythmic movements. We learn how rhythmic movements are used to assist in regulating muscle tone, integrating reflexes, and stimulating brain connections relating to impulse control, attention and sensory issues. Some topics included in this course:

  • Brain Development and ADD/ADHD
  • Integrating Primitive Reflexes
  • RMT Active and Passive Movements
  • Identifying Developmental Imbalances

RMT Level Two

Emotions and Inner Leadership
Sunday, Nov 11, 2012 • 9am–5:00pm

This 1-day course addresses how RMT affects emotions. Through Rhythmic Movement we enhance our ability to be in touch with and release emotions. We learn techniques for integrating the Fear Paralysis Reflex and Moro Reflex and how to release the body tensions that arise from holding emotions. Some topics included in this course:

  • Emotional Development, Fear Paralysis Reflex and RMT
  • Moro reflex and it's critical importance for sensory development
  • Motor Function and the Limbic System
  • Muscle Tension and Repressed Feelings
  • Frontal Lobes, the Limbic System and RMT
  • Autism and RMT

Prerequisite –RMT Level One

Course Fees Include course manuals and DVD 

      • Level 1 & Level 2:  $545, with early registration, after Sept. 30, 2012, $575
      • Level 1 only (2 days):  $375, with early registration, after Sept. 30, 2012, $395
      • Level 2 only (1 day):  $225, with early registration, after Sept. 30, 2012, $245

          Tuition for review students is half of the full price tuition, no early registration discounts. Does not include manuals or DVD.

          In the event of a cancellation by sponsor, all tuition fees are refunded in full. Student registration cancelled within one week of course start may not receive refund; to be decided at the discretion of course sponsor.  Full attendance is required to receive certificates and CEUs.  Lodging and meals are not included.
