## Primitive Reflex Integration for Toe Walking Challenges

Unintegrated primitive reflexes can create muscle tension, which may contribute to tight and shortened muscles in the legs and feet, impacting [toe walking](https://moveplaythrive.com/index.php?Itemid=653 "Addressing toe walking through primitive reflex integration"). Reflex integration techniques and innate rhythmic movements have been used successfully to address toe walking in children and teens.
