# Trauma ## Trauma ## Can Neurodevelopmental Movements Help in Trauma Recovery? When trauma occurs, individuals can get stuck in fight, flight, or freeze states that may last even long after the trauma takes place. Primitive reflex integration and rhythmic movements help to calm and mature the nervous system, allowing individuals to move beyond fight, flight, or freeze and into more calm, regulated states.
