To enroll in the Brain and Sensory Foundations Second Level course, you must have either previously taken—or be currently registered in—our [First Level course.](https://moveplaythrive.com/index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&view=page&id=9&Itemid=362)

## Get 9 Powerful Sessions to Optimize Primitive Reflex Integration

Get 6 rhythmic movements plus multiple variations for each one—21 total. This session includes excellent rhythmic movements to do in supine, prone, and quadruped for building core strength, promoting reflex integration, and for calming and maturing the neuro-sensory-motor systems.

Address persistent soiling/bedwetting, weak core, poor posture, tactile hypersensitivity, and ADHD behaviors with these [Spinal Perez reflex](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/spinal-perez-reflex) tools. Integration of the Spinal Perez reflex is helpful to support the integration of: Moro, TLR, STNR, Spinal Galant, and Headrighting.

[Landau reflex](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/landau-reflex) activities enhance balance, stability, core strength, and visual processing. Landau reflex is essential for our anti-gravity development and helps complete the integration of TLR, STNR, and Headrighting.

Apply [Amphibian](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/amphibian-reflex) and [Crawling reflexes](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/crawling-reflexes) to help with fatigue, stiffness, or clumsy movements, and cross-pattern movement difficulties. Integration of these reflexes is often associated with reduction of ADD/ADHD symptoms and is beneficial for supporting ATNR integration. This session also includes Part 1 of the [Crossed Extensor reflex](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/crossed-extensor-reflex).

The [Crossed Extensor reflex](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/crossed-extensor-reflex) supports independent limb-movement, optimal coordination, crawling, and symmetrical walking. Calming the [Foot Tendon Guard Response](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/foot-tendon-guard) supports Babinski and Plantar reflex integration and is useful for feet and leg cramps, rigid muscles, and toe walking. It is great for relieving overall stress and tension and supports Moro and FPR integration.

When underdeveloped, [Pull-to-Sit](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/pull-to-sit-reflex) may contribute to hypotonia and tension in the hands and arms, poor motor skills, immature visual skills, and poor headrighting—impacting writing and spelling. The [Parachute reflex](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/parachute-reflex) helps with coordination and protection. It has a role in helping [Infant Torticollis](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/infant-torticollis) and may aid us in feeling safe, setting healthy boundaries, and communicating expressively.

Get tools for integrating [Facial-Oral reflexes](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/facial-oral-reflexes) (Rooting, Sucking, & Swallowing), plus a [Birth & Bonding protocol ](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/birth-and-bonding)to address disrupted bonding. The Facial-Oral reflexes impact feeding, oral sensitivity, speech, and manual dexterity. The Birth & Bonding protocol helps heal birth trauma and promote a positive emotional connection between child and parent.

Get additional techniques for integrating challenging reflexes such as TLR, ATNR, Babinski, and FPR from the First Level course. You will also get Part 1 of our excellent protocol for resolving [Infant Torticollis](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/infant-torticollis) with play, rhythmic movements, and reflex integration—no painful stretching is needed.

Get part two of the protocol for [Infant Torticollis](https://moveplaythrive.com/resources/primitive-and-postural-reflexes/infant-torticollis), plus an in-depth review of rhythmic movements and reflexes. You will marvel at all the tools you have gained from this Second Level training course.

![Students give the Second Level Course a 4.5 rating on a 0-5 scale.](https://moveplaythrive.com/images/2023_Misc_Images/Rating_Bar_Graph_Second%201.png)

Physical Therapist

"The Brain and Sensory Foundations, Second Level course took my skills of working with reflexes to a whole new level-especially for the treatment of Torticollis. Sonia does a masterful job of taking her wealth of information and distilling it down to the best of the best and then presenting it in a very practical way that can be immediately used in a treatment session. I am so thankful that I took Brain and Sensory Foundations, Second Level. I highly recommend this course to fellow therapists, parents, counselors, teachers, and anyone else working with children."

"I was so moved by the changes I saw in my students that I began my own private practice to share with even more people. The mother of a 10-year-old client recently told me that her often reluctant child asks to do the rhythmic movements and wants to share them with her dad because she thinks it will help him."

"The RMs \[innate rhythmic movements\] have been integrated into our practice with most success to increase functional engagement when the kiddos can't seem to relax otherwise. They are also proving to be the gateway for motor development—amazing results where other interventions were not even close to helping. The kiddos love the "work" and the parents are relieved to find bedtime movements that relax everyone!!!"

"In the past, I have struggled with helping my patients improve sleeping patterns but once I learned the Abdominal rocking rhythmic movement in the Brain and Sensory Foundations, Second Level course, I began making great strides with my patients immediately. I had learned how to integrate the Abdominal reflex in another course but had difficulty with parent training and carry over due to the many steps required for parents to remember. Using Sonia's technique for Abdominal Rhythmic Movement, the parents were able to easily implement this and reported immediate positive results. So many parents have come to me the next session raving about how quickly their child fell asleep and how rested he seemed the next morning. They felt it was much easier to implement than other exercises and were very satisfied with the results! I am so excited about all of the new information provided in this Brain and Sensory Foundations, Second Level course. I highly recommend all of Sonia Story's courses as they have greatly improved the way that I approach therapy with my patients. She has helped me become a better therapist!"
