Information about ASHA CEUs
The following information comes from ASHA.org
Who is eligible to earn ASHA CEUs?
Individuals must meet at least one of the following criteria at the time of course completion to be eligible to earn ASHA CEUs:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Holder
- Life Member, Membership holder without Certification, or International Affiliate
- Licensed by a state or provincial regulatory agency to practice independently as an audiologist or speech-language pathologist
- Credentialed by a state regulatory agency to practice independently as an audiologist or speech-language pathologist
- Credentialed by a national regulatory agency to practice independently as an audiologist or speech-language pathologist
- Currently engaged in a Clinical Fellowship, which is supervised by someone with their ASHA CCC
- Currently enrolled in a masters or doctoral program in audiology or speech language pathology
The following 6 questions highlight the criteria that must be satisfied to earn ASHA CEUs:
- Am I eligible to earn ASHA CEUs?
- Have I paid the annual CE Registry fee?
- Did I find an ASHA Approved CE Provider?
- Did that Provider register this course with ASHA CE?
- Did I complete all of the Completion Requirements for the course?
- Did I tell the Provider to submit my completion records for ASHA CEUs?
If the answer is yes to all the above questions, earning ASHA CEUs is possible!
If the answer is no to any of the above questions, then only generic credit is possible (e.g. Contact Hours, Professional Development Hours, etc.)
