How Reflex Integration Can Benefit Preschoolers

Preschool children are expected to master many skills, including: sitting still, taking turns, self-regulating, verbalizing needs, and performing various pre-academic motor tasks. Integrating primitive and postural reflexes provides the foundation for attaining these functional skills smoothly and joyfully. Preschool should be fun—and it can be with neurodevelopmental movements for optimal sensory and motor function.

All case studies are written by students of the Brain and Sensory Foundations First Level course.
