Severe Motion Sickness Gone

Rhythmic movements make a huge difference for severe motion sickness

This little girl had such severe motion sickness that she could not ride in a car four blocks. Then her mom discovered the rhythmic movements taught in the Brain and Sensory Foundations program. By integrating rhythmic movements into their daily life, she was able to help her daughter overcome motion sickness so she can now ride in a car and even spin when playing.

Severe motion sickness -- could not tolerate tummy time or drive in the car for even 4 blocks Significant improvement of motion sickness -- can even spin in circles

We started with Rhythmic Movements [from the Brain and Sensory Foundations course] in July 2017 – so it’s going on 9 months now.

"My daughter could not ever tolerate being on her tummy due to her motion sickness and that has now passed. Her motion sickness was severe – we couldn’t drive four blocks without her getting sick."

My daughter just turned 5 in October 2017. She had a significant accident when she was 2.5 years old. She was at the top of the stairs, grabbed the baby gate and popped it out from the wall.

She then “surfed” the gate down the stairs head first. She wasn’t really hurt, but she was very afraid and I believe this event retriggered/unintegrated her fear paralysis [reflex] and maybe a few other primitive reflexes.

Currently we do a long session every other day (15 to 25 minutes each child - occasionally it's gone over 45 minutes because they won’t let me stop!) We don’t do them everyday because I find that the brain needs a day of rest to incorporate and adjust to the new information from the sessions.

If I forget to do a session they will remind me. When we started I usually did it when they were asleep. When I moved to them being awake for the sessions, it was very short sessions (sometimes less than a minute) – we slowly increased the length of time.

When we started they both could barely tolerate any movement and now they both ask for it.

"We have seen great improvement with my daughter's motion sickness.
She will now spin herself in circles or get her dad to do it and she giggles and loves it."

Just a few months ago that never would have happened.

*Disclaimer: The activities in the Brain and Sensory Foundations curriculum make use of the natural processes of neuroplasticity and development that are innately wired in the design of human beings to promote maturity and function. These activities appear to calm, organize, and mature the neuro-sensory-motor systems just as we see in the healthy development of human infants. Individual results may vary, and we do not claim to offer a cure for any specific condition or disorder. The Brain and Sensory Foundations activities appear to improve overall functioning resulting in measurable improvements for a range of conditions as demonstrated in over 1800 case studies from participants.
