Toddler with Medical Issues and Global Developmental Delay Benefits from Rhythmic Movements
Improvements in eating, sleep, and communication
This mom used rhythmic movements from the Brain and Sensory Foundations course to help soothe and organize her toddler’s nervous system, resulting in: more restful sleep, easier chewing and swallowing, increased use of ASL, and greater patience while engaging in activities.

My 2.5 year old daughter is a medically complex kiddo who spent the first two months of her life in the hospital. We adopted her from foster care, she has been with us since she was 2 months old. She has hearing loss (wears aids), scoliosis (wears a brace), global developmental delay, g-tube fed, not walking, speech delays (SLP is thinking there could be possible apraxia of speech diagnosis), and loves to sit in the W position.
It's taken months to get her to allow me to do all the rhythmic movements [from the Brain and Sensory Foundations course] with her, rhythmic movement 3 was the big hold up. We have consistently been able to do all four movements with her at least twice a day for a month [now].
We've seen tremendous improvement since we've begun the rhythmic movements and all of her therapists were very curious about your program. Since starting the rhythmic movements she's now sleeping much better and will actually put herself to sleep in the crib after lots of snuggles and books of course. She is eating more orally and her chewing and swallowing has improved drastically. She will lay on her tummy and play for short periods of time. Her ASL vocabulary has grown tremendously and she is trying to imitate sounds.
She loves doing all the RMs now. We also watched her stack 8 wooden blocks without losing patience, which is a new skill. I can't thank you enough for the program, it's definitely life changing for us.
*Disclaimer: The activities in the Brain and Sensory Foundations curriculum make use of the natural processes of neuroplasticity and development that are innately wired in the design of human beings to promote maturity and function. These activities appear to calm, organize, and mature the neuro-sensory-motor systems just as we see in the healthy development of human infants. Individual results may vary, and we do not claim to offer a diagnosis or cure for any specific condition or disorder. The Brain and Sensory Foundations activities appear to improve overall functioning resulting in measurable improvements for a range of conditions as demonstrated in over 1800 case studies from participants.
