Can Neurodevelopmental Movements Help in Trauma Recovery?

When trauma occurs, individuals can get stuck in fight, flight, or freeze states that may last even long after the trauma takes place. Primitive reflex integration and rhythmic movements help to calm and mature the nervous system, allowing individuals to move beyond fight, flight, or freeze and into more calm, regulated states. Children, teens, and adults have successfully used these neurodevelopmental movements to dissolve trauma, boost functional skills, and experience more enjoyment in life.

All case studies are written by students of the Brain and Sensory Foundations First Level course.
