Primitive Reflexes: Foundation for Sensory Processing

Primitive reflexes drive the development of the sensory processing systems, allowing them to function more optimally. In cases of sensory processing disorders, primitive reflex integration and rhythmic movements have been successfully used to mature the sensory system, leading to better functioning, self-regulation, and positive emotional states.

All case studies are written by students of the Brain and Sensory Foundations First Level course.
